Artist Lê Xuân Chiểu
Xuan Chieu was born in 1956 in Ha Tay province, the Northern of Vietnam, in a traditional family for fine art. His father is an artist, so he had a chance to familiar with colors and palette very soon. Growing up, he kept on learning drawing at high school and then at college.
In 1976 he graduated from Vietnam Fine Art College in Hanoi.
He is a member of Vietnam Fine Arts Association;
Member of Ha Tay Literature and Arts Association;
Member of Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.
Now Xuan Chieu is a fine-art lecturer and the head of Lacquer department of Fine Arts University of Ho Chi Minh city. Vice rector of HCM city fine arts association.
