Bach Lan

Artist Bach Lan was born and raised in the so great highland – Buon Me Thuoc – located in the middle of Vietnam. Her path in Art initiated at an early stage when she first picked up the brush in 1975. Whenever Bach Lan is mentioned, it is natural to be reminded of her talented and romantic strokes. She is an established artist who pursues Neo – Romanticism in Vietnam Fine Arts world. Being a member of Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, the artist has held many successful exhibitions in HCMC, Korea, and Japan. 

Pursuing Neo-Romanticism and being inspired by the flower lotus and Vietnamese ladies, with Bach Lan artist’s skillful strokes, the images of beautiful and graceful young ladies were created mesmerizingly from first glance. The lissome strokes in combination with the dark-bright shades of romantic colors create a lively portrait. Lotus is the symbol of purity and vitality, and it is also one of the purest and most graceful kinds of flower. Borrowing the image of lotus to emphasize the purity and innocence of a young lady, especially Vietnamese ladies, is the exquisite and ingenious idea of the artist.
